Innovative work 1
As a part of teaching practice, we had to develop a work for effective teaching learning purpose. It should be innovative, creative and a good aid for students. I had prepared a scrap book for the effective transaction of the chapter 'World of Carbon' of class 9th. It is more like a child friendly book with multicolours and pictures. Any student could learn at ease as of a story book.
Week 9 (Feb 27- Mar 2)
It was the final week of our teaching practice. These were the most precious days of our b.ed life. This week it literally felt how attached we are to the school environment. It is much happier that the portions allotted got completed. Additionally, I was able to conduct revision classes. The students cleared their doubts and I have provided them with all the needed notes. The consigned teachers are also happy and they appreciated our efforts. They have provided many valuable guidelines to improve the teaching. In this week I have engaged with many duties. As the school is nearing closure many programs are being conducted for the students. The Teens Club of the school has conducted a creative program and we also got part of that. It was really a nice experience. On feb 28, National science day, we took an initiative to celebrate it. Week 8( feb 20- feb 24)
This week was also good. All portions got covered. We have entered to the final days of our teaching practice. As the portions are nearing end I have started revision classes also. Now the students are asked to clear their doubts from the taken portions so that I can conduct classes based on that. This week I have brought the students for Yoga class. Much of them were familiar with basic yoga aasanas. So it was easy to conduct the class. I taught them three aasanas and asked to practice that. Students were much interested in doing yoga.The special classes for the 10th students ended this week. It was really interesting and productive to be a part of that. This week I got an opportunity to take students of 9th standard for an exhibition conducted by students of 'Thinker's lab' from all over the district. The exhibition venue was Govt. Week 7 (Feb 13-feb 17)
The 7th week also went well. The portions are moving smoothly. This week I took students for a physical education class on the ground. It was really a nice experience to share some time with the students outside the classroom. I gave them a warm up session and then asked them to play some minor games under my instructions. Another specialty of this week was a special class for the SSLC batch started in the school. It is a day- night motivation class named SMILE 2K22. The headmistress made us involve in that too. We went to the students to clear their doubts on our subjects. All the other works and duties are going well.
