Teaching practice 2(biweekly report)

June 19- june 30

The second phase of teaching practice started on 19th June 2023. The first two weeks of our practice session went well. It is the time we got exposed to the school environment and to the schedule. On the first day we met with the school HM and our consigned teachers. They gave us proper guidelines regarding the school timetable and about our duties. We got introduced to our classes and the students were very interactive. The school atmosphere was conducive and we expect a great time ahead here.

 In the first week the school conducted various programs in relation to the "reading month". The reading month celebrations were inaugurated by the poet Vinod Vaishaki,giving an awareness to students on the need of reading in the hour. The students presented their thoughts and reading experiences in the program conducted. The school arranged a special "book van" for students to enhance their reading and to give them a proper exposure to the world of reading.

 On the second week The International Day Against Drug Abuse was also celebrated with great importance in the school. Awareness programs and a skit were conducted by the students with the guidance of teachers. The school initiates to conduct such innovative programs to make the students realise the world around them through productive activities.

 The HM made sure to involve us in all these programs and it was really a great experience.

 The classes are going well and are being able to cover portions. The students' active participation in learning activities are helpful to conduct the classes smoothly. The guidelines and support of teachers are a great relief. The first two weeks helped to know about the school and to mingle with the new atmosphere.

Week 5 ( jan 30- feb 3)

 This was the 5th week of our teaching practice. In this period of one month, I got attached to the students very much. One chapter for each class were completed. Test papers and book clearance were done. Noon meal duty, gate duty, exam duty, milk distribution duty etc were done accordingly.  There were group prayer on jan 30 martyr's day. Final week(July 20- August 3)

 Biweekly report   The final weeks of the teaching practice session. All of the classes went well and we got a lot of valuable instances from the school to cherish forever.  We were able to complete the portions as planned without failing to execute the lesson plan properly. We had regular class observations from the consigned teachers as well as from our subject teachers. They shared many valuable remarks regarding the classes. After the completion of the portions achievement tests were also conducted for the students. It helped to understand how much the students gained the knowledge that we have imparted to them. The students achieved good results and that is a great positive remark for our teaching.  We were  involved with many other activities in the school.
