 Biweekly report( July 3-14)

 The teaching practice session is going well. We have completed two more weeks in  the school. With each day our responsibilities and duties are increasing. We are getting more of a part of the school.

 We have to cover the  portions within the time limit. So more emphasis is being given on covering the portions. The classes are going as per the lesson plan and the teachers give proper guidelines and support in carrying out the classes. The Unit test for HS students started this week and we are assigned with exam duty.

 We had class observations from our subject teachers this week. It was helpful in knowing about our strengths and weaknesses.

 We got involved in some programs conducted by school this week. As part of the reading month a reading competition was held for the UP and HS students. We got the opportunity to conduct the competition. It helped to interact more with the students and to learn about managing a competition. An awareness class for the teenage girls lead by the Police department was another program conducted this week. We were also part of the entire session and were able to learn about some social issues that affect the school girls. 

 The school is going to organise various house-wise competitions to promote and encourage students' interest in the school activities. We were divided into groups and are assigned to each house. It is an opportunity to have an informal interaction with the students and to support them in nourishing their capabilities.

 It is a great pleasure that HM make us involve in all the school related activities. Apart from learning about classroom management,such programs are helpful in learning more about the non- academic activities and its role in students' lives. It helps us to mould the teacher in us.

 We had discipline duty and mid day meal duty on these weeks also. We are being able to handle all the responsibilities with mutual cooperation and guidance.
